Want to See the Gorgeous French Chateau Where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Got Married? Mais Oui!

So where did longtime lovebirds Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wed, exactly? No venue could really be perfect enough for the most royal of A-listers, so their own modest (and by modest, we mean gargantuan) French estate was the only choice.

Chateau Miraval, located in Provence, was purchased by the couple in 2011 and sits on 1,000 acres. Did we mention it includes a small French-gothic chapel, too? Sounds parfait for the newlyweds!

Take a peek:

This is the most gorgeous winding driveway of all the gorgeous winding driveways we’ve ever seen.

Outdoor Walkway

A French chateau demands classic and beautiful architecture, which is just what Brad and Angie have, of course.

The great outdoors of Bragelina’s estate boasts a vineyard and olive trees. Think they toasted with their own wine at their reception?

Aerial View

Even though the couple has six children, their lovely chateau could definitely hold 60.

Instant Expert: Why You Need to Know What Chinoiserie Is

chinoiserie credenza
Jonathan Adler
Chinoiser-what? This hard to pronounce, say it with me: Chinoiserie (Sheen-wahz-erie), is the European styling of Chinese décor (think high lacquer, gilded and lots of blue and white pottery) that became popular with Western communities during the 17th and 18th centuries. Go modern: Think this style is too traditional? Think again. Modern designers are taking Chinois lines and lacquering to contemporary furniture... read more
