Your Next Drink Needs to Be a Dirty Little Secret

If a dish or drink is made with an unusual ingredient, you bet I’m game to try it. Enter the Dirty Little Secret cocktail from JIMMY at The James – a rooftop bar on the 18th floor of The James Hotel in NYC. I took one look at the bar’s drink menu and was sold after seeing just two words: “steak sauce.” It surprisingly added the perfect amount of flavor and smokiness to this masterful martini. Try it for yourself. I got the ridiculously easy recipe from JIMMY’s house mixologist, Johnny Swet.

Dirty Little Secret

Ingredients:
• 5 ounces Olive Brine
• .1 ounce Dry Vermouth
• 2 ounces Tito’s Vodka (or your favorite vodka)
• 2 dashes Celery Bitters (buy ‘em here)
• Less than the back of a bar spoon of A.1. Steak Sauce

How to make it:

Combine all of the ingredients in a tin shaker and shake to combine.

Strain into a martini glass and garnish with olives.
