A Full House Comeback That’s Revamped!
Rumor has it that one of our favorite TV families is returning to the small screen. When? No idea (it’s Hollywood speculation, so hopefully before the ninth of never), but I’m excited to see if the Tanner house is going to get a modern makeover. Since I love how chic the entirely grown-up cast has become, I actually found a house (it’s in NYC!) that would suit the coolest members’ personal style. Take a peek inside.
Seeing double? It’s no secret that Michelle Tanner has grown up into a pair of über-chic twins. Founders of The Row, a clothing line, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are basically billionaire bag ladies with incredible taste. Sticking to Big Apple-black most of the time, they still have a bohemian side and this fauna wallpapered-and-black lacquered dressing room is seriously up their alley.
O.K., Uncle Jesse has gotten super hot. I mean, who wouldn’t want to have their very own John Stamos around the house?! (I would.) The entertainment room in this West End home has hot leading man written all over it — he can watch himself on a massive screen surrounded by his trophies for his Greek God-like looks. I think this one deserves a slow clap.
While Uncle Jesse and Michelle’s areas of the home are a little on the dark and mysterious side, Lori Laughlin (neé Rebecca) calls for a trim and just plain pretty bedroom. A creamy yellow wall color with ivory upholstery is super sophisticated and creates a relaxing room, ideal when looking to hide from the rest of the family.
Always the big sister, Candice Cameron keeps her style classic. Lace is pretty much timeless, which translates into this living room. Pale blue and cream with a deco floral print is perfect for a San Francisco lady and how we guess D.J. Tanner would be living today.
