Would Actor Armie Hammer Need to Convince YOU to Marry Him?
He may play The Lone Ranger, but actor Armie Hammer is anything but. Posing (adorably, how else?) alongside his wife Elizabeth Chambers, the 26-year-old gives a whole new meaning to husband material in the August issue of Town and Country. Good looks aside, it appears Hammer is just as sweet as he is sexy; with his wife telling the magazine that Armie had to do some convincing on the topic of marriage:
“When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married,” she said. “He sat me down and said, ‘Look, we don’t have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you’ll be 40 and divorced and we’ll run into each other, and we’ll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we’ll wonder why we wasted all of that time. Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.'”
Logical? Yes. Heart-warming? Even more so; especially since Hammer was only 23 at the time of their 2010 nuptials. That’s right — 23. The age of most men who prefer beer bongs over afternoons spent ring shopping. Add to it the fact that the duo met in 2006 at a West Hollywood gas station (while Chambers had a boyfriend, nonetheless). We don’t know about you, but we’d definitely need some convincing too. After all, no four-year-old girl dreams of meeting her Prince Charming at a Shell station. We’re just glad they found their happily-ever-after. Now excuse us while we swoon over these photos of the happy couple.
We want to know: Did your partner have to do a little convincing before popping the question? What did he or she say while on bended knee?
