Organization Tip of the Day: Make Sense of Your Mail
Make sense of your mail by designating an easy place to toss it as well as an efficient way to sort it.
How to do it:
- Choose a place where it’s easy to toss the mail: a desk in the kitchen, a drawer near the entryway.
- Devise a good system using trays, baskets or file folders and label each for different categories.
- Make sure to clean out the files regularly.
Expert tip: If you tend to ignore the mail, keep it in open containers. It’ll force you to deal.
