Organization Tip of the Day: Photograph Mementos to Help Combat Clutter

Clear out clutter by photographing drawings, ticket stubs and other mementos rather than keeping them all. Put the photos in albums to preserve memories.
How to do it:
- Instead of letting your nephew’s finger painting gather dust, collect that and other favorite keepsakes and photograph them individually.
- Store the photos on your computer and back up to a storage device to ensure you never lose the images. Make albums when you have time!
Expert tip: If you simply can’t part with your precious keepsakes, store them in a 3-ring binder and put away for safe-keeping. That way, you can keep what you love while saving space.
