Photo Round-Up: Mitt Romney’s ‘Binders Full of Women’

During the second presidential debate last night, Republican hopeful Mitt Romney made a comment that’s inspired a social sh-tstorm the likes of which we haven’t seen since Clint Eastwood’s empty chair speech.

It all started with the words “binders full of women” and now there’s even a  Facebook group and a parody Twitter account. But our personal fav is the Tumblr blog filled with creative interpretations about what Romney’s little book of women could possibly look like. (That’s right, cue the trapper keeper jokes.)

Check out our round-up of Tumblr highlights, including a bestselling book and a well-known TV personality.

The back story, in case you missed it:

When asked by undecided voter Katherine Fenton how the candidates would “rectify the inequalities in the workplace”, Romney said, “We took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet. I went to a number of women’s groups and said: ‘Can you help us find folks,’ and they brought us binders full of women.”

What do you think about Romney’s binder remark?
