Decor News From Fashion Week

Today is the last day of Fashion Week in New York. We’ll confess that The Nest team has felt a little left out of the fun, while our officemates from The Blush have been busy scoping out the latest runway trends. So, we were thrilled to discover that there was some home décor news straight from the runway!

The Mohawk Group, a leading flooring design company, carpeted the runway for designer Cesar Galindo’s show! Models decked out in Galindo’s designs sacheted down the company’s ‘Amused’ and ‘Enthralled’ patterns, which are from the brand new ‘State of Mind’ collection. The patterns in the collection were designed to work in coordination with one another and deliver a progression of color (perhaps they were inspired by the recent ombré trend in the fashion world!) We love hearing about innovative partnerships like this, and we hope that more home brands find ways to make their way to catwalk the next time Fashion Week rolls around!

Pretty in Pink

We bet the carpeted runway was a relief for the models in their super-high heels!
