Celebrating Julia Child’s 100th Birthday
Today would be Julia Child’s 100th birthday. In celebration of the centennial anniversary of her birth, we thought we’d share a Julia Child-inspired DIY project from The Nest magazine. Despite the fact that she was one of the most-celebrated chefs in her day, Julia Child’s Cambridge, MA kitchen was surprisingly modest. Child famously stored her pots and pans right on the wall using a pegboard and hook organizer that her husband Paul Child built for her beloved “batterie de cuisine.” Read on to see how Child’s no-nonsense kitchen inspired a real couple:
