Happy Birthday, Paul McCartney — A True Romantic

Some of us are simply fools for love, and if there’s one celebrity who emobodies that ethos, it’s the adorable living legend Paul McCartney. Though he’s now happily married to wife Nancy Shevell, Paul and the late Linda Eastman-McCartney had quite possibly one of the most epic love stories in history. Paul’s love for Linda was palpable, and endured until the day she passed from breast cancer in 1998. It’s been said that in their 29 years if marriage, Paul and Linda spent only 10 days apart. And they raised four amazing children, including the uber talented fashion designer Stella McCartney (a personal fave).
Today is Paul McCartney’s 70th birthday, and he’s just as cute as the day he and the rest of The Beatles hit the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. Happy Birthday, dear Paul. Cheers!

Paul’s story reminds me of me when I was younger and desperately in love. Love was my currency and my air. Now I’m 20 years older and it’s still my way of living – to love my wife and show my two kids that it’s possible to care and love as long as life goes on.
