Photo: ShutterstockWe all know we need to eat more fruits and vegetables, but usually we just don’t want to. Well, according to a study in Environment and Behavior, there are two things you can do to increase the chance that you’ll snack on something healthier than a Heath bar.
Researchers Gregory Privitera and Heather Creary found that participants were more likely to eat healthy foods like apples and carrots when 1) they were stored in clear containers and 2) placed in plain view.

I’ve found the best way to get my veggies in is by juicing. I take fiber supplements to make up for what I’m missing. About 3-4 cups of spinach, 4-6 carrots, an inch of ginger, and a variety of fruits/berries a day makes about 4 cups of juice.
As for me, I never had problems in eating fruits and vegetables. I buy a lot of them, but get to run out of them very quickly. I prefer apples, bananas and different berries. I don’t always eat them just like that, I often make juices, purees and things like that.
