Rowenta Offers the First Energy-Efficient Steam Iron

For those of you who are into crisp blouses and cutting down on your electricity bill, today’s your lucky day: Rowenta has developed North America’s first energy smart iron. In case you’re wary, take note: the new Eco Itelligence iron doesn’t sacrifice performance or durability in order to deliver a 25% energy savings over standard irons. It works just as hard and concentrates steam so that it actually uses less water. (We’re digging the black and green design, too.)

The Eco Intelligence iron retails for $150 and is available in April 2012. Try it out and let us know what you think.
